Goalie Sign-Up

Goalies Wanted: MACRHL is always looking for goalies of all skill levels. If you are interested in playing in net, please complete the following steps...

Step 1: Obtain Insurance

Playing in net is FREE, however you must have insurance. Please register with either of the following for insurance:

  • USA Hockey on their web site USA Registration and print the confirmation page. (If the link does not work, copy this text into your browser: https://www.usahockeyregistration.com)

The fee for USA Hockey membership is $30.00 and is valid from September 1, 2007 through August 31, 2008. USA Hockey Membership Benefits (in PDF) includes access to educational resource materials for players, special discounts for apparel/merchandise, and, most importantly, insurance coverage for excess accidents, catastrophic accidents and general liability. You will also receive a subscription to the USA Hockey Magazine.

Step 2: Register with MACRHL

  1. Email proof of insurance to Tiffany at tmarra@gmail.com
  2. Register at MACRHL Goalie Forum (http://www.macrhl.com/goalieforum)

Step 3: Schedule Games To Play In Net

  1. Login to the MACRHL Goalie Forum (http://www.macrhl.com/goalieforum)
  2. Click on the Calendar icon
  3. Click on the date/time you would like to play in net
  4. Reply to the event posting that you can play in net

You can sign up for as many games as you would like. However, if something comes up and you are unable to make it after you have committed, please delete your original message. This way if anyone is looking for a last minute game, they can sign up.

Scheduling will be on a first-come, first-served basis. So, please be considerate of others and only schedule yourself for games you are able to make. We will send out a reminder about who is scheduled to play in net at the beginning of each week.
